Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politcally biased story in 2012 Benghazi as "the most regrettable mistake I've made in the last 10 years." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media company) in the year 2019. In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News). In March 2022 that she'd been "dumped". Logan was a student as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) as well as the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years she decided to move into freelance journalism. She was appointed as an editor/reporter, reporter and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN covered the events of the Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
